Join us for “Friedman’s Failure of Nerve,” an advanced book study where we’ll look at applications of Bowen Family Systems Theory within and beyond the family, especially as it applies to leadership.
Ed Friedman took the tenets of Bowen Family Systems and applied them to congregational leadership. In A Failure of Nerve, he extended this to leadership in any type of organization.
Recommended: a familiarity with Bowen Family Systems Theory via Ed Friedman, Jack Shitama, Roberta Gilbert, Peter Steinke, Steve Cuss, or others.
The course is free, the material challenging. We hope you can join us in working to become a non-anxious leader in your family, ministry or organization.
This 9-week course meets every Tuesday from 7-8:30 pm via ZOOM, from January 16, 2024, through March 19, 2024 (excluding March 5).
Course Facilitators:
- Mike McDonald
- Dave Mullen
- Jack Shitama
